These upgrades can be used to boost a variety of purposes such as to increase the overall power of a particular or group unit. They also can be a significant influence on the gameplay.
The NPC for upgrading items can be found in the game. These NPCs can be found in major questing areas, or capital cities. Players can also find item upgrader s in dungeons that have high-level bosses, or by talking to NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.
The World of Warcraft item upgrade system allows players to increase the level of their weapons, armor, and trinkets. The process is similar to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however, instead of using the currency appropriate to the task, players must visit an NPC for upgrading items to complete the process.

Some upgraded items are only able to be rerolled if the original item was Unique, Rare or Epic. Additionally, exceptional items can be rerolled but the original stats are replaced with an uncapped bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will produce the normal version, and doing the same with the Epic version will result in an elite version.
Upgraded items could have additional modifiers that can improve their performance and increase their stats. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade price. They can be purchased at the Trading Post, or through other players. Additionally, they can be earned through completing certain missions in the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armorto upgrade a piece of equipment, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. You will need Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 can be dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 can be found from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time is a factor.

By selecting the item and pressing the green button with a an arrow for rerolling, a player can roll it into an upgradeable item. This will change the layout of the item's window and allow players to select up to six items to "recycle". The item that is recycled will be exchanged for an item of level 1 similar to it. Rerolled items will not retain their level, or the resources used to upgrade it.
The maximum upgrade level of an item is determined by the item's tier as well as its quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels up to nine, while common items can only be upgraded to level six. The upgrades to an item are added to the base statistics of the item which means that they do not increase after a certain point.
